An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Piearres in the 3rd minute of play forced Cortaderas FC's goalkeeper Teodosio Aguirre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dionisio Manex hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 5 minutes into the match, Cortaderas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Benet came free, but Teodosio Aguirre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Silvano Santiago had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jairo Gotzon. Club Atlético Paraní's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvano Santiago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Maximino Calisto charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximino Calisto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maximino Calisto kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After 17 minutes, Esteve Sayveon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cortaderas FC and the Club Atlético Paraní players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes Cortaderas FC got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Sayveon. In the 18th minute, Cesar Benet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Club Atlético Paraní booed when Cortaderas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Gaztea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodosio Aguirre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesar Benet, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Jairo Gotzon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Vlaše in the 35th minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Eduard Vlaše cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jairo Gotzon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Esteve Sayveon was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cortaderas FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! Cesar Benet shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 45th minute, Arnulfo Hotz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Paraní fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvano Santiago stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Hotz in the 51st minute of play forced Cortaderas FC's goalkeeper Teodosio Aguirre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Eliseo Piearres took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Teodosio Aguirre to make any attempt to save it. Teodosio Aguirre made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Maximino Calisto sent off a good shot on target. Silvano Santiago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jairo Gotzon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Senen kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Paraní's Maximino Calisto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teodosio Aguirre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Paraní's Eliseo Piearres got a free kick in the 80th minute. Cortaderas FC's Eduard Vlaše managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Saturnino Eufemio in the 86 minute of the game. Maximino Calisto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Aguirre having to interfere. Teodosio Aguirre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Piearres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnulfo Hotz took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teodosio Aguirre. Teodosio Aguirre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The Club Atlético Paraní supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Club Atlético Paraní would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
