An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Jaizki in the 10th minute of play forced Tobatirenda's goalkeeper Ciriaco Cordarrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Talleres's goalkeeper Nestor Libertad, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Rafael Llorenc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Talleres's Nestor Libertad got control of the ball when Rafael Llorenc tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 22 minutes, Rafael Llorenc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tobatirenda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Llorenc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Talleres booed when Tobatirenda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Bibiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Llorenc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Libertad having to interfere. Tobias Jaizki charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Tobias Jaizki hit a great ball. Ciriaco Cordarrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Dayam in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Filiberto Iaki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciriaco Cordarrell was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Filiberto Iaki made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Talleres's goalkeeper Nestor Libertad, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 53rd minute, Luis Dayam left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Talleres fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Ciriaco Cordarrell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Dayam went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. If Filiberto Iaki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Llorenc struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Nestor Libertad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tobatirenda. Braulio Shantala could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Ciriaco Cordarrell made a huge save. After 78 minutes, Rafael Llorenc made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Talleres's Nestor Libertad tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Gustavo Corderun came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Tobatirenda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Corderun couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Talleres's zone, Gustavo Corderun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Libertad came out of the goal and Gustavo Corderun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute, Iker Bibiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luis Dayam kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Damian Ortzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nestor Libertad. Talleres's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damian Ortzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3.
