In the 3rdth minute of the game Americo Gora who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Paraní's Jairo Gotzon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Paraní's zone, Anastasio Vergaray stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Gotzon came out of the goal and Anastasio Vergaray tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Americo Gora blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jairo Gotzon having to make a save. After having played for 11 minutes, Anastasio Vergaray managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Juarense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anastasio Vergaray was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maximino Calisto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Birant Kerim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anastasio Vergaray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd match minute, Club Atlético Paraní was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Norino to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Paraní's goalkeeper Jairo Gotzon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eliseo Piearres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Birant Kerim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Maximino Calisto struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Birant Kerim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Paraní. In the 32nd minute Eliseo Piearres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birant Kerim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victoriano Erruki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birant Kerim having to interfere. After 39 played minutes Club Atlético Juarense got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Pinto. In the 45th minute, Cleto Handi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Anastasio Vergaray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eliseo Piearres made a kick off. When Club Atlético Paraní's Eliseo Piearres in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Atlético Juarense's goalie prevented a goal. Maximino Calisto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Club Atlético Paraní's Jairo Gotzon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasio Vergaray in the 64th minute of play. Maximino Calisto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birant Kerim having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Paraní's Arnulfo Hotz got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute of the match, Anastasio Vergaray tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jairo Gotzon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atlético Paraní's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cristóvão Prado was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atlético Juarense's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Club Atlético Juarense getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Alberto Evangelista hit a great ball. Maximino Calisto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birant Kerim having to interfere. The supporters of Club Atlético Juarense booed when Club Atlético Paraní was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Manilan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Americo Gora recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jairo Gotzon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Americo Gora in the 85th minute. Club Atlético Juarense's Cristóvão Prado was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jairo Gotzon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 89 minutes into the game, Genaro Norino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Paraní's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Juarense the free kick. The supporters of Club Atlético Juarense booed when Club Atlético Paraní was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Norino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victoriano Erruki's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Juarense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victoriano Erruki helped the player get up and apologised. Jairo Gotzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasio Vergaray in the 93rd minute of the match. Americo Gora struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Jairo Gotzon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Juarense.
