With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Urtats in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Moises Cucao saved Caravantes FC from getting behind. Evaristo Hernando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Mel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Marco Urtats got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Aldo Salbatore fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caravantes FC's protests and gave Aldo Salbatore a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Caravantes FC's Aldo Salbatore got a free kick in the 19th minute. Castelli FC's Evaristo Hernando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Mel in the 23rd minute of play. The referee gave Caravantes FC a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aldo Salbatore, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Castelli FC's Evaristo Hernando. 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaston Llorian during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dionisio Confesor to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Castelli FC's zone, Lisandro Etxepare stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Hernando came out of the goal and Lisandro Etxepare tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Castelli FC's goalkeeper Evaristo Hernando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Castelli FC booed when Caravantes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Ibar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cleto Jobo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Moises Cucao. Caravantes FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Lisandro Etxepare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Sebastian Piorno fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Lisandro Etxepare could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Evaristo Hernando made a huge save. When Melquiades Mel came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Caravantes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melquiades Mel couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Castelli FC's Gregorio Monico got a free kick in the 69th minute. Evaristo Hernando was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Aldo Salbatore. Caravantes FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
