Romeo Inge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mario Flor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Berto having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Eduardo Ekain kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roy Lindgren. That made the score 1-1 in the 28 minute of play. Abel Pietro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Berto having to interfere. Romeo Inge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute Eduardo Ekain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roy Lindgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
