Benito Ricart's late challenge caught a Tigres Del Este's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benito Ricart helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd match minute, Boca Unidos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Ricart to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Boca Unidos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tigres Del Este:s goal. Boca Unidos:s Teodoro Victoro showed great skill when he stopped Marcial Miliano:s penalty. 5 minutes into the game, Marcial Miliano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Teodoro Victoro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 13 minutes, Roman Tohias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Unidos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Tohias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Mingo in the 21st minute of play forced Tigres Del Este's goalkeeper Miguel Garin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Garin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Mingo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roman Tohias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Miguel Garin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tigres Del Este's Herminio Maraman got a free kick in the 25th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oscar Mingo in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Garin saved Tigres Del Este from getting behind. 30 minutes into the match, Boca Unidos's goalkeeper Teodoro Victoro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dalmacio Erasto. Miguel Garin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Mingo in the 34th minute of play. Miguel Garin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Haroldo Stanislao went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 44 minutes, Herminio Maraman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tigres Del Este and the Boca Unidos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Boca Unidos booed when Tigres Del Este was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herminio Maraman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar Mingo might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miguel Garin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oscar Mingo ran back to his position shaking his head. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oscar Mingo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Roman Tohias recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Miguel Garin. Roman Tohias showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 56th minute, Tigres Del Este's Hipolito Demario seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Hipolito Demario the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tigres Del Este protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Hipolito Demario had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Boca Unidos getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Haroldo Stanislao hit a great ball. Dalmacio Erasto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmacio Erasto in the 78th minute of play forced Boca Unidos's goalkeeper Teodoro Victoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Mingo might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miguel Garin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oscar Mingo ran back to his position shaking his head. If Roman Tohias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvio Osmundo hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After 97 minutes Tigres Del Este's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Severino Rumaldo who took care of the corner kick. Geronimo Ceandro made a great header on Boca Unidos's corner, it was just that Tigres Del Este's Miguel Garin managed to reach the ball for a save. Boca Unidos's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
