Spectators: 7162 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 100) Caravantes FC's Melquiades Mel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Caravantes FC's zone, Oscar Mingo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moises Cucao came out of the goal and Oscar Mingo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute Oscar Mingo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moises Cucao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roman Tohias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Cucao having to interfere. Moises Cucao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Tohias in the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Tohias in the 17th minute of play forced Caravantes FC's goalkeeper Moises Cucao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lisandro Etxepare could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Teodoro Victoro made a huge save. When Lisandro Etxepare came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Caravantes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lisandro Etxepare couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes in the game, Lisandro Etxepare fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Teodoro Victoro having to interfere. If Melquiades Mel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Teodoro Victoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Mel in the 38th minute of play. After 40 minutes, Sebastian Piorno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caravantes FC and the Boca Unidos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Caravantes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Piorno to maneuver through the defense. Lisandro Etxepare recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Melquiades Mel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caravantes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Melquiades Mel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodoro Victoro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oscar Mingo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Melquiades Mel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lisandro Etxepare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Teodoro Victoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodoro Victoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Etxepare in the 62nd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the game, Lisandro Etxepare cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Teodoro Victoro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Melquiades Mel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, Caravantes FC's goalkeeper Moises Cucao had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roman Tohias. In the 73rd minute, Oscar Mingo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severino Rumaldo during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th minute of the match Aldo Salbatore shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teodoro Victoro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Teodoro Victoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Etxepare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 83 played minutes Boca Unidos got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Stanislao. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Melquiades Mel in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodoro Victoro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roman Tohias got free with Moises Cucao in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute Melquiades Mel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Victoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melquiades Mel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teodoro Victoro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lisandro Etxepare went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Boca Unidos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
