Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Timoteo Isusko took the kick off in the first half of the match. Osvaldo Barto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gregorio Hanni's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. 9 minutes into the game, Timoteo Isusko recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aquiles Berto. Timoteo Isusko showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Aquiles Berto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timoteo Isusko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Ekain came free, but Osvaldo Barto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gregorio Hanni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Barto having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Eduardo Ekain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gregorio Hanni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Osvaldo Barto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduardo Ekain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Barto having to interfere. In the 27th match minute, Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Efren to maneuver through the defense. Eduardo Ekain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 31 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Guido Lauren. MDB King's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Timoteo Isusko scored to the left of an out of position Aquiles Berto, making the score, 2-0. If Eduardo Ekain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Raimundo Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Aquiles Berto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aquiles Berto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raimundo Fernandez in the 45th minute. Gregorio Hanni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Barto having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After having played for 54 minutes, Gregorio Hanni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MDB King's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregorio Hanni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Osvaldo Barto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Ekain in the 62nd minute of the match. If Raimundo Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregorio Hanni struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Osvaldo Barto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MDB King. Osvaldo Barto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gregorio Hanni went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When Florentino Espiridion fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Independiente's protests and gave Florentino Espiridion a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, Florentino Espiridion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Sol missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 81 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Osvaldo Barto right hand side. Antonio Sol kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Osvaldo Barto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gregorio Hanni in the 89th minute. MDB King's Aquiles Berto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Isusko in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute of the match, Eduardo Ekain tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Osvaldo Barto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Independiente's Sebastian Oliverios got a free kick in the 97th minute. The Independiente players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
