Moises Cucao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Inge in the 6th minute of the match. Roy Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Mel in the 8th minute of play. Lisandro Etxepare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roy Lindgren having to interfere. A collision led to Caravantes FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Nereo Nalo hit a great ball. Pascual Baldovino charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pascual Baldovino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Mariano Moreno getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Pascual Baldovino hit a great ball. Sebastian Piorno's late challenge caught a Mariano Moreno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Piorno helped the player get up and apologised. The audience was convinced that Mario Flor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Moises Cucao was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Romeo Inge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Moises Cucao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Mario Flor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mariano Moreno's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Flor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moises Cucao breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dionisio Hitzeder kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The supporters of Mariano Moreno booed when Caravantes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Piorno didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Romeo Inge kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Moises Cucao. That made the score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Melquiades Mel was the one to do the kick off. Romeo Inge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Cucao having to interfere. Apolo Oton charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Apolo Oton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th minute, Apolo Oton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the match, Mariano Moreno's Romeo Inge sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Moises Cucao narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Melquiades Mel came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Caravantes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melquiades Mel couldn't finish the play. Mario Flor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Moises Cucao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lisandro Etxepare came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Caravantes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lisandro Etxepare couldn't finish the play. 2-1 became the score in the 81st minute when Lisandro Etxepare elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Roy Lindgren came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Caravantes FC's Melquiades Mel. But to his dismay, Melquiades Mel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Mario Flor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Romeo Inge left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mariano Moreno fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. There was no doubt that Mariano Moreno were the better team. Mariano Moreno's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
