Honorio Larpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon James in the 42nd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simon James to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Casimiro Montxo made a precise shot to the right of Simon Lano. El fenix FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in El fenix FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! In the 60th minute there was a penalty for Liverpool. Honorio Larpe made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Ricardo Euloxu sent off a good shot on target. Liverpool's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
