Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 46 played minutes El fenix FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Euloxu. El fenix FC's Simon Lano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Kemen in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

With a little luck, El fenix FC's Simon Lano got control of the ball when Lucas Laffitte tried to sneak it across the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Sayate FC's goal looked a bit too open when Simon James came free, but Dionisio Txerran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
