Cristo Bilintx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Paio in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Kaiken FC booed when Gimnasia y Esgrima de LP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Jatsu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Kaiken FC defense, Fermin Honesto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Pedroso. The Kaiken FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Pedroso should have stopped the shot. Fernando Pedroso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Federico Sedeni went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Eustaquio Quinito scored 0-4 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Pedroso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 34 minutes into the game, Gimnasia y Esgrima de LP's Eustaquio Quinito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernando Pedroso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Cornelio Eriz struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Cristo Bilintx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kaiken FC. Hermengildo Paio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Kaiken FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gimnasia y Esgrima de LP were winning 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eustaquio Quinito made a kick off. The supporters of Gimnasia y Esgrima de LP booed when Kaiken FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Etxeberri didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Kaiken FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Erasmo Domiku hit a great ball. Rene Inocente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Pedroso came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Gimnasia y Esgrima de LP's Fermin Honesto. But to his dismay, Fermin Honesto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Rene Inocente was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 78 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, one of Kaiken FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kaiken FC. Kaiken FC:s Fernando Pedroso showed great skill when he stopped Jeronimo Jakobe:s penalty. In the 84th minute Eustaquio Quinito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Pedroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Federico Sedeni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Fernando Pedroso made a huge save. 87 minutes into the match, Kaiken FC's goalkeeper Fernando Pedroso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ladislao Jatsu. Fermin Honesto succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-7 in the 88th playminute. Israel Hurko kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gimnasia y Esgrima de LP had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
