Federico Guillelmus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9thth minute of the game Ubaldo Faron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carpintería's Federico Guillelmus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Carpintería's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Faron came free, but Federico Guillelmus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ubaldo Faron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Federico Guillelmus was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Carpintería's zone, Ubaldo Faron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Guillelmus came out of the goal and Ubaldo Faron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute, Rosendo Cordareo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Constantino Satordi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Furnarius Rufus booed when Carpintería was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Roderigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Furnarius Rufus's Ubaldo Faron sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Federico Guillelmus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carpintería's Federico Guillelmus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Faron in the 31st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Haroldo Dunixi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Furnarius Rufus's supporters rose to their feet, but Haroldo Dunixi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Federico Guillelmus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Federico Guillelmus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Faron in the 36th minute of play. Federico Guillelmus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Tonio in the 39th minute of the match. A collision led to Carpintería getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Alonzo Roderigo hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Cornelio Fliz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Furnarius Rufus's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornelio Fliz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Federico Guillelmus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Federico Guillelmus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Faron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 44 played minutes Furnarius Rufus got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Dunixi. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ubaldo Faron to strike the kick off in the second half. When Osvaldo Mercurio came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Carpintería fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Mercurio couldn't finish the play. Federico Guillelmus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Tonio, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Rosendo Cordareo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Federico Guillelmus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ubaldo Farons short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Federico Guillelmus to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Artemio Gerazan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Telo in the 61st minute of the match. Ubaldo Faron had several of the Carpintería's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 62 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Federico Guillelmus as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ubaldo Faron might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Federico Guillelmus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ubaldo Faron ran back to his position shaking his head. 67 minutes into the game, Furnarius Rufus's Rosendo Cordareo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Federico Guillelmus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Aurelio Silvanito's late challenge caught a Furnarius Rufus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurelio Silvanito helped the player get up and apologised. Ubaldo Faron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Furnarius Rufus's Haroldo Dunixi got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Osvaldo Mercurio managed to get in a good position for a shot.
