Tobias Maurino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Felipillo in the 16th minute of the match. After 17 minutes, Teodosio Musko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beruti FC and the Internazionale Milano players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Beruti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodosio Musko to maneuver through the defense. Augusto Felipo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 18th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. But to his dismay, Ciro Tomi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 31 played minutes Internazionale Milano got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Johans. Severiano Belarmo kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Felipe Rayman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Lordi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Javier Joanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Severiano Belarmo fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beruti FC's protests and gave Severiano Belarmo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Internazionale Milano booed when Beruti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Belarmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eriberto Lordi in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipe Rayman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rolando Felipillo to make the kick off. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
