Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Defensores De Las Sierras's Remigio Urti started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Valentin Gombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Omero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Defensores De Las Sierras's zone, Valentin Gombal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernan Omero came out of the goal and Valentin Gombal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Defensores De Las Sierras's Remigio Urti got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valentin Gombal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hernan Omero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Valentin Gombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Omero having to interfere. Armando Delfino in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hernan Omero, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Defensores De Las Sierras's Gustavo Indar got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Victorio Chuse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 50th minute of the match Defensores De Las Sierras got a corner. Marquesado's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Astor Mitxel ran over to the corner to take the kick.

The wind increased when Valentin Gombal made the kick off in the second half. Hernan Omero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Gombal in the 54th minute of play. Armando Delfino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hernan Omero having to make a save. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Defensores De Las Sierras's goalkeeper Hernan Omero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Valentin Gombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hernan Omero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Delfino in the 72nd minute of the match. After 74 played minutes Defensores De Las Sierras got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Garaona. After recieving a nice pass, Marquesado's Cecilio Gaufred tried to score from far away in the 74th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 78 minutes into the game, Saul Cesaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marquesado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores De Las Sierras the free kick. Valentin Gombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Hernan Omero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorio Chuse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Defensores De Las Sierras's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Delfino came free, but Hernan Omero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Defensores De Las Sierras's Felix Bitxintxo got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 88 played minutes Marquesado got a freekick which was hit by Saul Cesaro. If Valentin Gombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Indar kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Valentin Gombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Hernan Omero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marquesado were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Defensores De Las Sierras to leave the ground with a draw.
