Elpidio Henry started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valentin Gombal in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Valiente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ambrosio Valiente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Henry in the 6th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Independencia's Elpidio Henry slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ambrosio Valiente. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Delfino in the 12th minute of play forced Independencia's goalkeeper Joaquin Valiente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Gorosti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafael Gorosti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ambrosio Valiente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Elpidio Henry kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ambrosio Valiente. That made the score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaime Quintin during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 28 played minutes Marquesado got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Quintin. Robustiano Lehior's shot from long distance in the 29th minute was not bad at all, but Marquesado's Ambrosio Valiente knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. When Victorio Chuse fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marquesado's protests and gave Victorio Chuse a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Marquesado's Victorio Chuse got a free kick in the 31st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Gombal in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Valiente saved Independencia from getting behind. Rafael Gorosti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Valiente having to interfere. When Saul Cesaro fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marquesado's protests and gave Saul Cesaro a yellow card for diving instead. Elpidio Henry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafael Gorosti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valentin Gombal to strike the kick off in the second half. Armando Delfino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Joaquin Valiente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquin Valiente stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentin Gombal's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Armando Delfino in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Joaquin Valiente, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Valentin Gombal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marquesado's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Gombal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Valiente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Valentin Gombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquin Valiente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Gombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Independencia's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Gombal came free, but Joaquin Valiente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Armando Delfino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquin Valiente made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Delfino in the 89th minute. 94 minutes into the game, one of Independencia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 97th minute, Marquesado's Valentin Gombal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joaquin Valiente. Joaquin Valiente yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Independencia were victorious despite being under pressure from Marquesado for much of the match.
