In the 26th minute, Clemente Theobald ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciro Montrelle was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 30 minutes into the match, General Alvear's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Ganix came free, but Alfredo Anaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in PIPACH recargado's zone, Clemente Theobald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Montrelle came out of the goal and Clemente Theobald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clemente Theobald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clemente Theobald to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee ignored PIPACH recargado's protests and gave Fernando Giro a yellow card for diving instead. 58 minutes into the game, one of PIPACH recargado:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 65th minute of the match Angelino Lizar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredo Anaya showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 68 minutes into the match, General Alvear's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Ramone came free, but Alfredo Anaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Amado Ganix made a precise shot to the right of Alfredo Anaya. General Alvear's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Ganix in the 74th minute of play forced General Alvear's goalkeeper Alfredo Anaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of General Alvear booed when PIPACH recargado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelino Lizar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Clemente Theobald reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ciro Montrelle. The goal made the score 2-5.
