Feliciano Azeari came out of the goal and Clemente Theobald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 8 minutes, Alfonso Illan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. General Alvear's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonso Illan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When General Alvear's Clemente Theobald in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tipas's goalie prevented a goal. Manuel Machado made in the 14th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by General Alvear's Leopoldo Tadzio. Feliciano Azeari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Theobald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 played minutes Tipas got a freekick which was hit by Guido Urritz. General Alvear's Clemente Theobald got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfonso Illan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliciano Azeari having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Guido Urritz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tipas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Feliciano Azeari made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clemente Theobald in the 33rd minute. In the 40th minute, Alfonso Illan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Alfonso Illan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Anaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Jon in the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Carolo Jon struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Alfredo Anaya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tipas. After 67 played minutes Tipas got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Txilar. In the 69th minute Carolo Jon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Anaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Clemente Theobald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfonso Illan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Feliciano Azeari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alfonso Illan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paulo Kaxen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute Clemente Theobald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliciano Azeari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cornelio Poncio was slow to take the kick. During this time General Alvear's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of General Alvear booed when Tipas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Txilar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Clemente Theobald's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Feliciano Azeari was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. The throw-in from Silverio Nafarroa in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by General Alvear's Leopoldo Tadzio. The supporters of General Alvear booed when Tipas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silverio Nafarroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see General Alvear lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
