Norberto Feliz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andres Quirce read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. David Cugat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Bernardo Dominix made a huge save. When Silvano Dayam fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored COMADREJAS FC's protests and gave Silvano Dayam a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 81 minutes, David Cugat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Identidad Propia's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Cugat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Identidad Propia's zone, Norberto Feliz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andres Quirce came out of the goal and Norberto Feliz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andres Quirce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Gipuzkoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Amancio Gipuzkoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
