The audience thought a goal was coming when Baltasar Columbo got free with Eloy Cristofol in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Horacio Ramone kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After having played for 20 minutes, Lino Oxarra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juanito y los Clonosaurio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lino Oxarra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 22 minutes of play, Juanito y los Clonosaurio's Ciro Frasco made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonides Oroitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 29 minutes into the match, Juanito y los Clonosaurio's goalkeeper Eloy Cristofol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baltasar Columbo. Prospero Selmo kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Leon Mincho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Eloy Cristofol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marciano Mateo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baltasar Columbo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eloy Cristofol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hilario Sayvion's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Godofredo Haritz to make the kick off. Alejandro Costante kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Hilario Sayvion blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eloy Cristofol having to make a save. Ciro Frasco scored 0-2 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonides Oroitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Baltasar Columbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Cristofol having to interfere. Hilario Sayvion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Central FC booed when Juanito y los Clonosaurio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Liher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marciano Mateo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Marciano Mateo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eloy Cristofol was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Central FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
