But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uriel Behe couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the match, Pie de Ángel's goal looked a bit too open when Godofredo Haritz came free, but Pascual Txurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Juanito y los Clonosaurio's zone, Nereo Ignado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Cristofol came out of the goal and Nereo Ignado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uriel Behe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Cristofol having to interfere. Ciro Frasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Godofredo Haritz in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pascual Txurio saved Pie de Ángel from getting behind. If Ciro Frasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the game, Juanito y los Clonosaurio's Ciro Frasco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pascual Txurio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Eloy Cristofol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Behe in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 played minutes, Juanito y los Clonosaurio's Vinicio Orlanda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pascual Txurio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Juanito y los Clonosaurio reached it. When Pie de Ángel's Nereo Ignado in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Juanito y los Clonosaurio's goalie prevented a goal. When Ciro Frasco came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Juanito y los Clonosaurio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Frasco couldn't finish the play. Godofredo Haritz struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Pascual Txurio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juanito y los Clonosaurio. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nereo Ignado to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Bruno Petri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pie de Ángel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Petri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruno Petri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Eloy Cristofol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 played minutes, Juanito y los Clonosaurio's Lino Oxarra shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pascual Txurio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Juanito y los Clonosaurio reached it. A collision led to Juanito y los Clonosaurio getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Lino Oxarra hit a great ball. When Pie de Ángel's Nereo Ignado in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Pie de Ángel booed when Juanito y los Clonosaurio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Haritz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Uriel Behe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Godofredo Haritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the game, Bruno Petri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pie de Ángel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juanito y los Clonosaurio the free kick. If Ciro Frasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eloy Cristofol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Ignado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eloy Cristofol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nereo Ignado's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Uriel Behe put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Eloy Cristofol. A hard shot by Vinicio Orlanda from long distance, 96 minutes into the match, got Pascual Txurio's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The Juanito y los Clonosaurio players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Pie de Ángel from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
