In the 19th minute Nereo Gomez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Walme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute Maximino Paublo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Niva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clemente Niva came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Sanford AFC's Maximino Paublo. But to his dismay, Maximino Paublo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. C.A. PEGASO's Clemente Niva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Paublo in the 30th minute of play. Clemente Niva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Paublo in the 36th minute of play. Roberto Walme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Gomez in the 37th minute of play. If Nereo Urre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nereo Urre succeeded in the game's 46th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. The C.A. PEGASO players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sanford AFC were winning 1-3.

The wind increased when Nereo Gomez made the kick off in the second half. Celedonio Cugat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Sanford AFC's zone, Nereo Gomez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Walme came out of the goal and Nereo Gomez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastian Unai hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Nereo Gomez struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Roberto Walme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. PEGASO. If Maximino Paublo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerardo Ishmael during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in C.A. PEGASO fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 80 minutes, Sanford AFC's Amado Baleren got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Clemente Niva. 84 minutes into the game, Sebastian Unai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sanford AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. PEGASO the free kick. The supporters of C.A. PEGASO booed when Sanford AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Unai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Niva made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Nereo Urre sent off a good shot on target. Celedonio Cugat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Roberto Walme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nereo Urre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Niva having to interfere. Maximino Paublo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 99th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The C.A. PEGASO supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sanford AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Sanford AFC.
