Esteinlab FC's Denis Bieito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Silvanito in the 8th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, Hoyón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Esdras to maneuver through the defense. Esteban Gines blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Candido Belmiro having to make a save. Astor Gorbea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute of the match, Astor Gorbea got a very nice opportunity to score, but Denis Bieito was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Astor Gorbea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Marcial Santxol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hoyón's goalkeeper Candido Belmiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcial Santxol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Belmiro having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Gines in the 39th minute of play forced Hoyón's goalkeeper Candido Belmiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anibal Montes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute, Froilan Cortez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcial Santxol made a kick off. If Astor Gorbea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnoldo Silvanito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 65th minute, Marcial Santxol reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Candido Belmiro. The goal made the score 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Astor Gorbea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hoyón's supporters rose to their feet, but Astor Gorbea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Bieito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcial Santxol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Candido Belmiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Bieito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Gorbea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Candido Belmiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Santxol in the 84th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the game, Marcial Santxol lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Candido Belmiro. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Esteinlab FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
