Zaratustra's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaston Kauldi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemente Niva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 12 minutes into the match, Zaratustra's Angelino Iturri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clemente Niva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Zaratustra booed when C.A. PEGASO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Beturian didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Zaratustra defense, Celedonio Cugat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeronimo Jorrin. The Zaratustra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeronimo Jorrin should have stopped the shot. Zaratustra's Angelino Iturri got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Angelino Iturri notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of C.A. PEGASO's Clemente Niva. Clemente Niva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When C.A. Arnulfo Modestio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clemente Niva having to make a save. If Rafael Chano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clemente Niva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafael Chano went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Rafael Chano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clemente Niva having to make a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafael Chano to strike the kick off in the second half. Clemente Niva stood somewhat misplaced when Rafael Chano came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 51 minute. With 62 minutes on the clock, Honorato Suarez commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Zaratustra's Teofilo Raymond got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. C.A. PEGASO's Clemente Niva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Chano in the 70th minute of play. Herminio Bernabel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Clemente Niva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rafael Chano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rafael Chano came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Zaratustra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Chano couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute, Rafael Chano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gerardo Beturian kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Amancio Corderro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Thanks to some nice moves Rafael Chano could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Clemente Niva however easily saved by the left post. 90 minutes into the match, C.A. PEGASO's goalkeeper Clemente Niva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Chano. Rafael Chano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
