Mariano Nisio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Indar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 13 minutes, Gogo Peruanton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HellFire F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gogo Peruanton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eleuterio Indar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, Mecoyta FC's Severiano Gabino fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Guido Orlanda was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. Aquilino Pepillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Guido Orlanda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd match minute, HellFire F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Astudillo to maneuver through the defense. Severiano Gabino spun around in front of the goal 34 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of HellFire F.C's goal. Mariano Nisio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Peruanton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eleuterio Indar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eleuterio Indar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mariano Nisio having to make a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gogo Peruanton was the one to do the kick off. Mariano Nisio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Peruanton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Gogo Peruanton fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mariano Nisio, passed just outside the right post. When Severiano Gabino came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Mecoyta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severiano Gabino couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd minute Severiano Gabino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guido Orlanda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eleuterio Indar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th match minute, HellFire F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Resto to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Timoteo Efraim sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and HellFire F.C's Guido Orlanda didn't even have to move. Aquilino Pepillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guido Orlanda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. HellFire F.C's Guido Orlanda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Pepillo in the 73rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mecoyta FC's zone, Eleuterio Indar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariano Nisio came out of the goal and Eleuterio Indar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mariano Nisio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Peruanton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Eleuterio Indar came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the HellFire F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eleuterio Indar couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Mecoyta FC's Osvaldo Hats got a free kick in the 91st minute. Osvaldo Hats kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Gogo Peruanton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severiano Gabino might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guido Orlanda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severiano Gabino ran back to his position shaking his head. The HellFire F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing HellFire F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
