The corner led VOLCANOS FC's Bartolo Sayveon to fire away a dangerous shot which Mariano Nisio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 20th minute, Jonathan Esdras left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VOLCANOS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Baltasar Llope fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VOLCANOS FC's protests and gave Baltasar Llope a yellow card for diving instead. Timoteo Efraim was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Leonides Vidal made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Aquilino Pepillo sent off a good shot on target. Joaquin Romano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Jonathan Esdras managed to get in a good position for a shot. VOLCANOS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Esdras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariano Nisio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mariano Nisio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Esdras in the 32nd minute of the match. VOLCANOS FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Severiano Gabino scored to the left of an out of position Leonides Vidal, making the score, 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathan Esdras in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mariano Nisio saved Mecoyta FC from getting behind. Joaquin Romano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the match, Ramiro Lapurdi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mariano Nisio. Mecoyta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramiro Lapurdi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Mariano Nisio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Esdras in the 48th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severiano Gabino to strike the kick off in the second half. Genaro Gerazan's late challenge caught a Mecoyta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genaro Gerazan helped the player get up and apologised. After 52 played minutes VOLCANOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Gerazan. In the 56th minute Mecoyta FC were awarded a corner. Timoteo Efraim went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Timoteo Efraim got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leonides Vidal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of VOLCANOS FC booed when Mecoyta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Gabino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute of the match Bartolo Sayveon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mariano Nisio skillfully saved the ball. Joaquin Romano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Jonathan Esdras took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Mariano Nisio to make any attempt to save it. Mariano Nisio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Esdras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopoldo Umea during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leopoldo Umea kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. VOLCANOS FC's Ramiro Lapurdi suffered a concussion in the 82nd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Diego Bemabe was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A hard and well directed shot from Bartolo Sayveon led 84 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Mecoyta FC's Mariano Nisio became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 2-4. After a defensive mix-up in Mecoyta FC's zone, Joaquin Romano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariano Nisio came out of the goal and Joaquin Romano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aquilino Pepillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Leonides Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The VOLCANOS FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing VOLCANOS FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
