The supporters of Sanford AFC booed when HellFire F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Abancens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sanford AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Amado Baleren in the 16th minute. The corner ended in Amado Baleren almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but HellFire F.C's Guido Orlanda did a great save. Roberto Walme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Peruanton in the 19th minute of play. Roberto Walme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Peruanton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victoriano Kemen's late challenge caught a HellFire F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno Abancens stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Roberto Walme. 1-1. Sanford AFC's Roberto Walme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Peruanton in the 79th minute of play. A collision led to HellFire F.C getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Godfredo Ofelio hit a great ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
