After a rather tough play, Huascha's Ricardo Froylan got a free kick in the 10th minute. When Maximo Eneto came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Burruyacú fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximo Eneto couldn't finish the play. Victorino Medina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Alonso having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Maximo Eneto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilberto Alonso. Huascha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximo Eneto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, Burruyacú's Victorino Medina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilberto Alonso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Victorino Medina scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilberto Alonso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 34 minutes into the game, Serafin Weterio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adan Iaki. Serafin Weterio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Adan Iaki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Orain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serafin Weterio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Adan Iaki made a huge save. If Felix Sindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd minute Felix Sindo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Iaki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Huascha's Gilberto Alonso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Huascha from getting a goal against them. Maximo Eneto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Gilberto Alonso made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Serafin Weterio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huascha's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafin Weterio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adan Iaki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Medina in the 63rd minute of play forced Huascha's goalkeeper Gilberto Alonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Victorino Medina kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gilberto Alonso. That made the score 1-3 in the 66 minute of play. Adan Iaki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafin Weterio in the 71st minute of the match. The supporters of Huascha booed when Burruyacú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Blasi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adan Iaki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafin Weterio in the 73rd minute of the match. If Felix Sindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. Gilberto Alonso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Gilberto Alonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Medina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Burruyacú had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
