Spectators: 7181 (Terracing: 5428, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 89) geminis's Elpidio Abilio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elpidio Abilio in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leo Norino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anastasio Iliana hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Adrian Orlondo charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Orlondo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in geminis fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! Evaristo Balendin walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 14th minute Hernan Magdaleno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Enaut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higinio Enaut came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by CLUB UNIÓN De Santa Fe's Hernan Magdaleno. But to his dismay, Hernan Magdaleno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 18 played minutes geminis got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Jaunti. Higinio Enaut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Feo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hernan Magdaleno took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Higinio Enaut. Higinio Enaut dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 45th minute, Anastasio Iliana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Elpidio Abilio came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the geminis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elpidio Abilio couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hernan Magdaleno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, CLUB UNIÓN De Santa Fe's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Abilio came free, but Leo Norino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66thth minute of the game Hernan Magdaleno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but geminis's Higinio Enaut was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, geminis's Ovidio Jaunti got a free kick in the 76th minute. Claudio Feo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Higinio Enaut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Hernan Magdaleno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute, Elpidio Abilio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leo Norino was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. CLUB UNIÓN De Santa Fe's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
