The supporters of Club Mercedes booed when Candelaria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Txurio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ladislao Licerio made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Candelaria FC's Filomeno Etxeberri got a free kick in the 55th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Licerio couldn't finish the play. Vinicio Cordeara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Jurdan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteve Jurdan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Cordeara having to interfere. Vinicio Cordeara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteve Jurdan in the 69th minute of the match. Club Mercedes's Cesar Arnas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 94th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Candelaria FC. For all the effort they put into the match, the Candelaria FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club Mercedes.
