Ovidio Garaile who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Esteban Fidensio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Isidoro Venerando fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored geminis's protests and gave Isidoro Venerando a yellow card for diving instead. Isidoro Venerando hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Esteban Fidensio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Abilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paolo Laffitte in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Higinio Enaut saved geminis from getting behind. Esteban Fidensio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ovidio Garaile in the 39th minute. If Ovidio Garaile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Higinio Enaut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Laffitte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A very good chance. If Emanuel Berasko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Esteve Favila's late challenge caught a geminis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteban Fidensio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
