In the 9th minute, Paulino Hernandez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ubaldo Martxel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 14th play minute Paulino Hernandez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ubaldo Martxel. 2-0. In the 21st minute, David Pagomari left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guadalupe Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. A wasted opportunity for Estudiantes de La Plata. A collision led to Guadalupe Juniors getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. David Pagomari hit a great ball. Guadalupe Juniors's Ubaldo Martxel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Hernandez in the 33rd minute of play. Guadalupe Juniors's Ubaldo Martxel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Guadalupe Juniors from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Guadalupe Juniors's Ubaldo Martxel got control of the ball when Paulino Hernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Guadalupe Juniors getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Elvio Eusko hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Guadalupe Juniors's Ubaldo Martxel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Hernandez in the 56th minute of play. Ubaldo Martxel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Herena in the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Fausto Herena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Santiago Iraitz came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Estudiantes de La Plata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santiago Iraitz couldn't finish the play. Ubaldo Martxel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulino Hernandez's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute Norberto Donostia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Martxel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Estudiantes de La Plata's Santiago Iraitz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ubaldo Martxel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 70th minute, Fausto Herena made a precise shot to the right of Ubaldo Martxel. Guadalupe Juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 89th minute, Teo Oihenarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Estudiantes de La Plata had played much better football throughout.
