After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Adrian Cresitobalo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Camelacho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Cresitobalo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Ponciano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute, Abelardo Austin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evaristo Casado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Ponciano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. After 30 minutes, Hugo Mambru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Menucos and the Camelacho FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 31 played minutes Menucos got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Mambru. After having played for 32 minutes, Evaristo Casado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Camelacho FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evaristo Casado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Camelacho FC booed when Menucos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Frascuelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evaristo Casado's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marco Ponciano firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Adrian Cresitobalo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Camelacho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Cresitobalo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Ponciano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jorge Gonsalve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrian Cresitobalo to make the kick off. Marco Ponciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Cresitobalo in the 53rd minute of the match. Donato Tallia made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Jorge Gonsalve sent off a good shot on target. Donato Tallia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Burni in the 57th minute of play. Donato Tallia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernan Burni's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Jorge Gonsalve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Tallia having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Evaristo Casado in the 67th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Adrian Cresitobalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Gonsalve struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Donato Tallia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Menucos. Leonides Brun's late challenge caught a Menucos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonides Brun helped the player get up and apologised. Leonides Brun kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Fernan Burni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Tallia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 73 played minutes Camelacho FC got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Austin. After having played for 78 minutes, Jorge Gonsalve managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Menucos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Gonsalve was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernan Burni in the 84th minute of play forced Camelacho FC's goalkeeper Donato Tallia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Adrian Cresitobalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camelacho FC's Donato Tallia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Camelacho FC from getting a goal against them. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
