After taking down the ball on La Cooperativa F.C.'s corner Arturo Abel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benedicto Rufio quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Rogelio Acevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benedicto Rufio was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. La Cooperativa F.C.'s Tiburcio Osasun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Urritz in the 14th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enzo Urtsua during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Imperio Unido FC's Sergio Remigio tried to score from far away in the 16th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. La Cooperativa F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogelio Acevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benedicto Rufio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Acevedo in the 20th minute of play. Tiburcio Osasun came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Imperio Unido FC's Faustino Lluc. But to his dismay, Faustino Lluc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. La Cooperativa F.C.'s Tiburcio Osasun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Urritz in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Imperio Unido FC booed when La Cooperativa F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Azubeli didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by La Cooperativa F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sergio Remigio was slow to take the kick. During this time Imperio Unido FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Imperio Unido FC's Faustino Lluc getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After a rather tough play, Imperio Unido FC's Eustacio Lobo got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute, Tobias Eder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Imperio Unido FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Victorino Urritz hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rogelio Acevedo to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Tiburcio Osasun managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Imperio Unido FC's Victorino Urritz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Victorino Urritz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 62nd minute Faustino Lluc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, La Cooperativa F.C.'s Tiburcio Osasun got control of the ball when Victorino Urritz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcos Eguen's late challenge caught a La Cooperativa F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcos Eguen helped the player get up and apologised. After 80 played minutes Imperio Unido FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Eguen. Faustino Lluc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Tiburcio Osasun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Imperio Unido FC's Benedicto Rufio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Acevedo in the 91st minute of play. If Victorino Urritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Imperio Unido FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than La Cooperativa F.C. throughout the match.
