A collision led to Los Imperfectos getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Gavino George hit a great ball. Paolo Acevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Virgilio Piearres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute Paolo Acevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Piearres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anastasio Estefan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Enmanuel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Mouricio having to interfere. In the 19th minute Paulo Enmanuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Mouricio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in MELOS FC's zone, Paulo Enmanuel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Mouricio came out of the goal and Paulo Enmanuel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Elias Jax fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MELOS FC's protests and gave Elias Jax a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th match minute, MELOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Jax to maneuver through the defense. Anastasio Estefan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Mouricio having to interfere. In the 31st minute Paulo Enmanuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Mouricio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anastasio Estefan took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernesto Mouricio. Ernesto Mouricio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Flavio Cisco struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Virgilio Piearres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MELOS FC.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Enmanuel in the 52nd minute of play forced MELOS FC's goalkeeper Ernesto Mouricio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Los Imperfectos's Anastasio Estefan in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MELOS FC's goalie prevented a goal. Anastasio Estefan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Enmanuel in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Mouricio saved MELOS FC from getting behind. 73 minutes into the match, MELOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasio Estefan came free, but Ernesto Mouricio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 77 minutes, Paulo Enmanuel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Imperfectos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Enmanuel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Acevedo in the 83rd minute of play forced Los Imperfectos's goalkeeper Virgilio Piearres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernesto Mouricio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Estefan, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. When the referee ended the match the Los Imperfectos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
