Imperio Unido FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teobaldo Veremundo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Benedicto Rufio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Veremundo in the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Placido Asier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Benedicto Rufio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Teobaldo Veremundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Tomas Rosario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Imperio Unido FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Alejo Erlantz hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, Imperio Unido FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Veremundo came free, but Benedicto Rufio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
