In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Water Resisten Club's goalkeeper Conrado Osasun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Conrado Osasun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Gilesindo in the 12th minute of the match. Water Resisten Club's Conrado Osasun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Perez in the 14th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Water Resisten Club got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Abad. The crowd rose to their feet as Enrique Gilesindo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Conrado Osasun. That made the score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. Conrado Osasun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Gilesindo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 33 minutes, Enrique Gilesindo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castellino Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Gilesindo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomás Mincho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Water Resisten Club's goalkeeper Conrado Osasun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomás Mincho. Enrique Gilesindo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Water Resisten Club's Conrado Osasun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Gilesindo in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Atilano Harri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Water Resisten Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Castellino Futbol Club the free kick. In the 42nd match minute, Water Resisten Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilano Harri to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enrique Gilesindo made a kick off. Conrado Osasun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Mincho in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Water Resisten Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Raul Cerilo was slow to take the kick. During this time Castellino Futbol Club's players had a chance to rest. Raul Cerilo made a great header on Castellino Futbol Club's corner, it was just that Water Resisten Club's Conrado Osasun managed to reach the ball for a save. Celestino Aballe kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Enrique Gilesindo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Conrado Osasun having to make a save. Tomás Mincho struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Conrado Osasun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castellino Futbol Club. Conrado Osasun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Mincho in the 64th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Castellino Futbol Club's Tomás Mincho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Conrado Osasun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Enrique Gilesindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Osasun having to interfere. Enrique Gilesindo succeeded in the game's 73rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Apolo Abad made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 77thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Arnaldo Ferdinand would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 79th minute of the match, Emanuel Paez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arnaldo Ferdinand saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Edelmiro Perez's late challenge caught a Water Resisten Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edelmiro Perez helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Water Resisten Club booed when Castellino Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabio Demario, 81 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Filomeno Gauargi charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filomeno Gauargi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Castellino Futbol Club's Tomás Mincho got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Water Resisten Club's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Mincho came free, but Conrado Osasun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Enrique Gilesindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Castellino Futbol Club's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
