The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benedicto Rufio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Imperio Unido FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edelmiro Nicholas came free, but Benedicto Rufio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Edelmiro Nicholas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faustino Lluc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute Faustino Lluc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Tohias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edelmiro Nicholas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, Marcos Eguen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Omar Brais came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Tinogasta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omar Brais couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omar Brais in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benedicto Rufio saved Imperio Unido FC from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Omar Brais stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benedicto Rufio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edelmiro Nicholas in the 53rd minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 56 minutes into the game, when Prospero Licerio put in a rough tackle. Victorino Urritz might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Feliberto Tohias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victorino Urritz ran back to his position shaking his head. Victorino Urritz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Tohias having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Edelmiro Nicholas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benedicto Rufio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Gaspar Ferran was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 87th match minute, Imperio Unido FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Ferran to maneuver through the defense. Victorino Urritz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Feliberto Tohias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Urritz, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
