Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Norberto Salvidor took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of C.A.M.T booed when Calchaqui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Harkaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Omar Batistuta took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo Enetz. Hugo Enetz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 8 minutes into the game, Honorio Harkaitz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Hugo Enetz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hugo Enetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Batistuta in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Alberto Iigo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Calchaqui fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Honorio Harkaitz struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Hugo Enetz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calchaqui. Hugo Enetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honorio Harkaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Enetz having to interfere. A collision led to Calchaqui getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Honorio Harkaitz hit a great ball. If Alberto Iigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd match minute, C.A.M.T was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Gervaso to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Enetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Iigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Salvidor in the 38th minute of play forced Calchaqui's goalkeeper Dante Koldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Omar Batistuta notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of C.A.M.T's Hugo Enetz. Hugo Enetz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 46 minutes of play, Calchaqui's Omar Batistuta made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Enetz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Calchaqui's Omar Batistuta got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Braulio Ondino charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Braulio Ondino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Braulio Ondino hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omar Batistuta in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Enetz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Omar Batistuta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Enetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Iigo in the 68th minute of play. Siro Medina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorio Harkaitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Enetz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Omar Batistuta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Enetz having to interfere. Hugo Enetz stood somewhat misplaced when Honorio Harkaitz came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 80 minute. When the match was over Calchaqui could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than C.A.M.T throughout the match.
