In the 10th match minute, Balcozna AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebio Bieito to maneuver through the defense. When Balcozna AFC's Santos Maxin in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Jose Papo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alonzo Polentzis short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Jose Papo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 31st minute, Balcozna AFC's Uriel Cesaro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Uriel Cesaro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Balcozna AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Uriel Cesaro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 31st minute, one of Balcozna AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Balcozna AFC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roque Mikelats in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jose Papo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roque Mikelats could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Jose Papo made a huge save. Roque Mikelats's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jose Papo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Poma AFC's Roque Mikelats got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alonzo Polentzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Jose Papo made a huge save. After having played for 49 minutes, Roque Mikelats managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poma AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roque Mikelats was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teobaldo Felipo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Teobaldo Felipo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balcozna AFC and the Poma AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Balcozna AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Felipo to maneuver through the defense. Poma AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alonzo Polentzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 77 played minutes Balcozna AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Cai. Jose Papo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Otoniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the game, Alonzo Polentzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Jose Papo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Roque Mikelats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Balcozna AFC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Damaso Erramu hit a great ball. When Poma AFC's Roque Mikelats, in the 92nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Poma AFC. In the 94th minute Roque Mikelats shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Papo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Balcozna AFC defense, Roque Mikelats kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jose Papo. The Balcozna AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jose Papo should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Poma AFC had played much better football throughout.
