Spectators: 7288 (Terracing: 5468, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Roque Mikelats started the match with the kick off. Iraizoz's Mateo Abarca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anacleto Ishmael in the 4th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eloy Senin got free with Arnoldo Llope in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alonzo Polentzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Mateo Abarca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Iraizoz's zone, Alonzo Polentzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Abarca came out of the goal and Alonzo Polentzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Poma AFC's Roque Mikelats, in the 15th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Poma AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Caitano in the 19th minute of play forced Poma AFC's goalkeeper Arnoldo Llope to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Roque Mikelats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iraizoz's Mateo Abarca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Polentzi in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Anacleto Ishmael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mateo Abarca didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Poma AFC's Roque Mikelats shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Eloy Senin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Arnoldo Llope made a huge save. After 52 played minutes, Poma AFC's Melquiades Otoniel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mateo Abarca came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Poma AFC reached it. When Alonzo Polentzi came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Poma AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alonzo Polentzi couldn't finish the play. Nemesio Caitano struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Arnoldo Llope didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iraizoz. A collision led to Iraizoz getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Timoteo Oriche hit a great ball. Alonzo Polentzi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Mateo Abarca when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marciano Barros hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Mateo Abarca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Mikelats, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Roque Mikelats managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poma AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roque Mikelats was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mateo Abarca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Poma AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Melquiades Otoniel in the 82nd minute. Anacleto Ishmael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Abarca having to interfere. Mateo Abarca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roque Mikelats's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Iraizoz fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Mateo Abarca, was totally fooled by Poma AFC's Melquiades Otoniel, who 91 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the final whistle sounded Poma AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Iraizoz.
