An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Felipo in the 20th minute of play forced Saturno AFC's goalkeeper Teo Lauren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Roman Abaunza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teo Lauren came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Balcozna AFC's Santos Maxin. But to his dismay, Santos Maxin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Teo Lauren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santos Maxin in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Patricio Lehoi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jose Papo. Balcozna AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patricio Lehoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Ovidio Erauso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saturno AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ovidio Erauso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose Papo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Balcozna AFC's Santos Maxin got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Saturno AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ovidio Erauso was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Ovidio Erauso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jose Papo. That made the score 1-3 in the 52 minute of play. Eusebio Bieito's late challenge caught a Saturno AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusebio Bieito helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, Balcozna AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebio Bieito to maneuver through the defense. After 57 played minutes Saturno AFC got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Edwardo. Teobaldo Felipo got in the 58th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Teo Lauren handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. If Teobaldo Felipo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute Santos Maxin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Lauren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teo Lauren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Felipo in the 86th minute of play. Nunez Turi charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nunez Turi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Saturno AFC's Nunez Turi got a free kick in the 88th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Balcozna AFC's zone, Ovidio Erauso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jose Papo came out of the goal and Ovidio Erauso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Saturno AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
