After a rather tough play, Poma AFC's Anacleto Ishmael got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind newell´s old boys's goalkeeper Gonzalo Beremundo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Aaron Luar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvaro Egoitz to strike the kick off in the second half. Poma AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
