The supporters of Balcozna AFC booed when Cipolleti AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Iratze didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jimeno Eguzki charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jimeno Eguzki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Maxin in the 5th minute of play forced Cipolleti AFC's goalkeeper Erasmo Estefan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimeno Eguzki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erasmo Estefan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teobaldo Felipo went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Cipolleti AFC's Erasmo Estefan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Maxin in the 14th minute of play. Jimeno Eguzki got his second yellow card in the match during the 19th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Cipolleti AFC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Jimeno Eguzki hit a great ball. Erasmo Estefan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Felipo in the 27th minute of the match. After 31 minutes of play, Balcozna AFC's Teobaldo Felipo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erasmo Estefan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Santos Maxin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erasmo Estefan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Felipo in the 40th minute of the match. Teobaldo Felipo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Erasmo Estefan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cipolleti AFC's Erasmo Estefan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Maxin in the 44th minute of play. Cipolleti AFC's Rigoberto Naldo got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santos Maxin struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Erasmo Estefan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balcozna AFC. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rigoberto Naldo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Erasmo Estefan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Felipo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santos Maxin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the match, Balcozna AFC's Teobaldo Felipo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erasmo Estefan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Teobaldo Felipo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erasmo Estefan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Santos Maxin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 74th playminute. When Santos Maxin came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Balcozna AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santos Maxin couldn't finish the play. If Santos Maxin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Santos Maxin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabricio Iratze's late challenge caught a Balcozna AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabricio Iratze helped the player get up and apologised. A nice corner shot did that Isaac Ebardo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Erasmo Estefan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Balcozna AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
