Jairo Criston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Haroldo Odilon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oroño AFC's Haroldo Odilon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Santio in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Santo Llanos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trampa AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Jairo Criston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haroldo Odilon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Llanos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 minutes, Ladislao Abechuco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trampa AFC and the Oroño AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute, one of Trampa AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Trampa AFC. When Florencio Chuan fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oroño AFC's protests and gave Florencio Chuan a yellow card for diving instead. Florencio Chuan kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Ladislao Abechuco kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. If Florencio Chuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florencio Chuan hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Criston in the 42nd minute of play forced Oroño AFC's goalkeeper Haroldo Odilon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humberto Santio struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Haroldo Odilon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trampa AFC. 46 minutes into the game, Florencio Chuan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manuel Sergi. Florencio Chuan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Humberto Santio made a kick off. Humberto Santio in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Haroldo Odilon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Humberto Santio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Sergi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Fernado in the 58th minute of the match. Jairo Criston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Haroldo Odilon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humberto Santio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Haroldo Odilon made a huge save. Oroño AFC's Haroldo Odilon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Oroño AFC from getting a goal against them. Humberto Santios short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Haroldo Odilon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 72 minutes into the match, Jairo Criston had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Haroldo Odilon. Oroño AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jairo Criston was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 82 minutes into the game, Jairo Criston cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Haroldo Odilon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Jairo Criston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 90 minutes, Jairo Criston managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trampa AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo Criston was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Erubiel Ramone fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trampa AFC's protests and gave Erubiel Ramone a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Donato Fernado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oroño AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Fernado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Sergi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Trampa AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
