The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 57th match minute, Les Blues was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Bero to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the game, Ciro Sauveur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. JCC Cobos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Les Blues the free kick. The supporters of Les Blues booed when C.A. Les Blues's Leopoldo Urdin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Shantala in the 97th minute of play. Many of Les Blues's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Les Blues may have spent more time on the ball, but C.A. JCC Cobos were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
