In the 3rd minute, Aureliano Haritzeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Les Blues getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Genaro Tauro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Jorge Gonzo made a huge save. 20 minutes into the game, Marco Etxepare was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Almagro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Les Blues the free kick. Marco Etxepare hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Artemio Maties in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leopoldo Urdin saved Les Blues from getting behind. After having played for 25 minutes, Genaro Tauro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Les Blues's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genaro Tauro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jorge Gonzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Txomin in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Almagro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Valery to maneuver through the defense. If Nicasio Clementi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicasio Clementi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Almagro's Jorge Gonzo got control of the ball when Genaro Tauro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Almagro's Nicasio Clementi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leopoldo Urdin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leopoldo Urdin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Justin in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Benicio Txomin made the kick off in the second half. Genaro Tauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jorge Gonzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Genaro Tauro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicasio Clementi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
