In the 12th minute Jorge Bela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Casomiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laureano Urdaspal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Illart having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Laureano Urdaspal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Flavio Illart, 1-1. Albino Casomiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Bela in the 19th minute of the match. Laureano Urdaspal was extremely unlucky when he, in the 21st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Luc Saints FC's Severiano Soter got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Raimundo Figueroa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nogolí fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laureano Urdaspal got free with Flavio Illart in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Nogolí's zone, Facundo Garces stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Illart came out of the goal and Facundo Garces tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Laureano Urdaspal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Flavio Illart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laureano Urdaspal was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 41st minute. Luc Saints FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 41st minute, Laureano Urdaspal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavio Illart was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Albino Casomiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Roland in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th match minute, Luc Saints FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laureano Urdaspal to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 60th minute, Laureano Urdaspal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavio Illart was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. With 64 minutes on the clock, Facundo Garces commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 64th minute, one of Luc Saints FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Luc Saints FC. Laureano Urdaspal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Flavio Illart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Bela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Albino Casomiro made a huge save. Laureano Urdaspal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severiano Soter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Illart read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 85thth minute of the game Laureano Urdaspal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nogolí's Flavio Illart was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Naike in the 87th minute of play forced Nogolí's goalkeeper Flavio Illart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Illart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Urdaspal in the 88th minute of play.
