Severiano Soter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Leo Cordarin made a huge save. 15 minutes into the match, Luc Saints FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edelmiro Vidal came free, but Albino Casomiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severiano Soter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albino Casomiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Vidal in the 20th minute of play. If Laureano Urdaspal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Teodoro Belo came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Luc Saints FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Belo couldn't finish the play. Severiano Soter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 44 minutes, Laureano Urdaspal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luc Saints FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laureano Urdaspal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laureano Urdaspal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Leo Cordarin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Wilfredo Petri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rosendo Mikeldi to make the kick off. Amancio Cordeara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Casomiro having to interfere. Severiano Soter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Laureano Urdaspal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leo Cordarin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Chaguaral getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Wilfredo Petri hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Severiano Soter notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Chaguaral's Leo Cordarin. Leo Cordarin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Laureano Urdaspal came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Luc Saints FC fans jumped to their feet. Leo Cordarin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Soter in the 81st minute of the match. Severiano Soter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
