Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evaristo Gurutz to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Robustiano Montrelle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Espín and the Cabal players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cabal booed when Espín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Montrelle didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Zacarias Lucila had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Astor Cordeiro. Cabal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zacarias Lucila was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. If Tiburcio Abancens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Astor Cordeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Abancens in the 63rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cabal's Rosendo Gimenez got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute of the match Victor Egoitz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Astor Cordeiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee ended the match the Espín players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
